Window Installation Cost
Window installation cost is built into every fitted estimate on this site. Rather than adding one flat labour fee to every window, the model accounts for product type and job size because a single-window visit and a ten-window replacement project do not have the same economics.

Why fitting cost changes with job size
Survey, travel, preparation, disposal, certification and setup are disproportionately expensive on a one-window job. Larger projects let an installer spread those costs across more units. This is why simply multiplying a one-window retail price by ten can overstate a whole-house replacement project.
What standard installation means
The fitted model assumes normal replacement access, removal of the old unit and ordinary making good. Scaffolding, rotten lintels, structural alterations, new openings, listed-building requirements and extensive plaster or render repair can sit outside a standard replacement price.

What “fitted” means here: supply, standard replacement installation and ordinary 20% VAT are included. Unusual access, scaffolding, structural repairs, planning/listed-building requirements and highly bespoke work can sit outside the standard estimate.
