1. The service

Window Price Calculator provides a personalised estimate of typical UK fitted market pricing for the windows and doors selected in the calculator. The result is an information product. It is not a contractor quotation, building survey, valuation, offer to carry out installation work or guarantee that a particular installer will charge the same amount.

The result is based on the choices you provide, current pricing research, regional adjustments and the assumptions shown in the result.

2. Price and payment

The current price for one personalised result is £2.99. It is a one-off payment and does not start a subscription.

Payment is processed by Stripe. Card details are entered into Stripe Checkout and are not stored by Window Price Calculator.

3. Immediate digital delivery and cancellation

The result is supplied digitally as soon as payment is confirmed. Before paying, you are asked to expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that once supply of the digital result begins, you may lose the statutory 14-day right to cancel that would otherwise apply to many distance contracts.

This does not remove any statutory rights you have where digital content is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet legal requirements.

4. What the estimate includes

Unless the result says otherwise, the fitted estimate is intended to represent normal consumer pricing for supply, standard replacement installation, standard removal and basic making good, together with ordinary VAT assumptions used by the pricing model.

It does not automatically include unusual structural work, scaffolding, specialist access, extensive repairs, planning or listed-building requirements, asbestos work, major electrical work or highly bespoke fabrication unless an allowance is specifically included.

5. Accuracy and assumptions

Window and door prices vary between installers, specifications and properties. Exact dimensions generally improve the estimate. When you use a rough size or choose “not sure”, the calculator uses a representative size or specification and widens the range to reflect the extra uncertainty.

Layouts, opener arrangements, materials, colours, glazing, region, quantity and other selected options can affect the calculation. Always compare the result with written installer quotations before making a purchasing decision.

6. Refunds and technical problems

If a payment is taken but the paid result cannot be supplied because of a technical failure, the issue should be corrected or the payment refunded where appropriate. Duplicate or erroneous charges should also be reported.

A difference between the estimate and a later installer quotation does not by itself mean the digital result is defective; the calculator provides a market estimate rather than a guaranteed quotation. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

7. Acceptable use

You may use the calculator and your purchased result for personal decision-making and comparison. You must not interfere with the service, attempt to bypass payment controls, scrape the service at scale or reproduce the pricing system as a competing commercial database without permission.

8. Changes

The pricing model, source data and product options may be updated as market evidence changes. The result you purchase reflects the model and information available at the time it is generated.
