Window Price Calculator is designed to use as little personal information as possible. You can build an estimate without entering your name, home address or telephone number.
Information used by the calculator
The calculator processes the product choices you enter, such as product type, approximate or exact dimensions, opener layout, colour, glazing, quantity and broad UK region. These details are used to calculate your personalised result.
Before checkout, your current project may be stored in your browser so that it can be recovered if you return from Stripe or cancel checkout.
Payment information
Payments are handled by Stripe Checkout. Window Price Calculator does not receive or store your full card number. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy and security terms.
The website receives information needed to confirm whether the checkout succeeded and to unlock the result associated with the submitted calculator project.
Technical and security data
The website is delivered using Cloudflare infrastructure. Like most web services, infrastructure providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser information, request timing and security data in order to deliver the site, prevent abuse and diagnose technical problems.
Analytics and advertising
The current version of Window Price Calculator does not use advertising trackers or behavioural analytics cookies. If non-essential analytics or advertising technology is added later, this policy and the consent controls will be updated before that technology is used where consent is required.
How long information is kept
Calculator project data stored locally in your browser remains there until it is replaced, cleared by the application or removed through your browser/site-data controls. Payment records are retained by Stripe in accordance with Stripe's policies and applicable legal requirements. Infrastructure and security logs are retained only for the periods applied by the relevant service provider or as reasonably necessary for security and troubleshooting.
Sharing
Project data is not sold to installers and the calculator is not a lead-generation form. Information is shared only where needed to run the service, process payment, host and secure the website, comply with law or protect the service against misuse.
Your rights
Where UK data-protection law applies, you may have rights relating to personal information, including rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability depending on the circumstances. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you believe your data-protection rights have been infringed.
